SYN RABÍNA Z BELZU - ŽIDENICE BOHUMILA HRABALA Výprava pro starší a pokročilé
Komentovaná procházka s Jiřím Peňásem a Ivo Krobotem sleduje židenické stopy Bohumila Hrabala v širším kulturním a historickém kontextu – po stopách židovské přítomnosti, paměti i vyprávění, které formovalo autorovu imaginaci. Společně se vydáme krajinou jeho raného dětství, kde se rodily první obrazy světa, k nimž se ve své tvorbě opakovaně vracel. Výprava končí u Hrabalova rodného domu na Balbínově ulici.
Akce se koná ve spolupráci Divadla Bolka Polívky, Centra židovské kultury ŠTETL a iniciátora akce Iva Krobota. Za finanční podpory Statutárního města Brna a Městské části Brno Židenice.
THE RABBI OF BELZ’S SON – ŽIDENICE OF BOHUMIL HRABAL A walk for older and more advanced participants
This guided walk with Jiří Peňás and Ivo Krobot traces Bohumil Hrabal’s Židenice footprints within a broader cultural and historical context — following the traces of Jewish presence, memory, and storytelling that shaped the author’s imagination. Together, we will set out through the landscape of his early childhood, where the first images of the world were formed, to which he repeatedly returned in his work. The walk concludes at Hrabal’s birthplace on Balbínova Street.
The event is held in cooperation with the Bolek Polívka Theatre, the ŠTETL Centre for Jewish Culture, and the initiator of the event, Ivo Krobot. With financial support from the Statutory City of Brno and the Brno-Židenice Municipal District.
