Anatoli is celebrating 15 years!
Fifteen years of Greek music. From Byzantine melodies and the musical traditions of Asia Minor to rebetiko — songs that carry within them a piece of Greek history and everyday human life.
This time, at our anniversary concert, we’ll dive into the world of rebetiko. Into the music of port districts and urban tavernas, into stories of love, longing, joy and hardship. Into songs that still carry the spirit and rhythms of the East and the Mediterranean.
Recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage, rebetiko is much more than a musical genre. It tells the stories of people on the margins of society, of longing, freedom, displacement and hope. More than a century after it first emerged, it continues to move and inspire new generations of listeners around the world.
Come celebrate 15 years of Anatoli with us and enjoy an evening filled with the rhythms of rebetiko!
We look forward to seeing you!
