Founded by singer and trumpeter Yael Gat, Folkadu invites listeners into the world of Jewish musical traditions. The unique combination of vocals, oud, accordion, trumpet and shofar creates a sound that connects tradition with the present while vividly showcasing the diversity of Jewish music. The repertoire includes both well-known and forgotten songs and poems in Hebrew, Yiddish and Ladino.
