For more than a decade, the Slovak group Mojše Band has been one of the most distinctive projects on the Central European world music scene. Their work draws on the klezmer tradition while blending it with contemporary experimental, electronic and club music. In their current project, the band combines historical instruments with electronic modulators and virtual sound layers. The result is a hypnotic fusion creating a bridge between tradition and the present, minority culture and contemporary audiences.
An internationally active DJ with roots in Miami and Tel Aviv, DJ Ronelle blends afro-house, Middle Eastern rhythms, electronic music and global dance sounds into deep, intuitive and highly energetic sets. Her work is built on multilayered rhythms and carefully shaped atmospheres that transform the club space into an intense shared experience.
