For generations, the Placzek family belonged among the leading figures of Moravian Jewry, and its members left a significant mark on the religious, scientific, and social life of Central Europe. The event will provide space for audience questions as well as personal encounters across generations and continents. Join us for a conversation about how family memory is preserved across decades and thousands of miles, and what it means to return to a city known primarily through the stories of parents and grandparents.
