language workshop
Modern Hebrew is not only one of the official languages of the State of Israel, but also a living language spoken by more than 9.5 million people worldwide.
Join Hebrew instructor Kristýna Zubčáková, who has been teaching Hebrew at the Jewish Community of Brno for more than ten years, for an introduction to the history and development of modern Hebrew, as well as the opportunities and challenges involved in learning the language. Participants will become familiar with the sounds of the Hebrew alphabet, learn the difference between vocalized and unvocalized Hebrew texts, and practice reading a few simple words and sentences.
Held in Czech. Duration: 60 minutes.
