Collective Life Choir (Denisa Langrová, Ruta Putramentaite, Jonáš Richter) uses collective singing as a tool for sharing, resonance, and temporary community. In their work, they compose fragments of academic texts, poetry, and popular music into new units of meaning - as a living practice of “already made,” in which borrowed materials are transformed through a shared voice into a current, shared experience.
At the PLÁCEK festival, they will lead a workshop focused on the experience of collective singing. Through simple song structures and open participation, a space will emerge where the voice becomes a medium of connection to oneself, to others, and to what has already been spoken and can now be relived.
